A: There are no products that do "all that revolution does" and again i am not a big fan of fact that it does not do it all as i have heard some dogs for example get heartworms while on monthly revolution. closest products for your cat would be frontline plus, which does not do anything for mosquitoes but i am frankly not worried about heartworm disease in cats in most areas of country. i just would not apply a product which causes the reaction you describe as i would be worried about long term effects on body

Worm medsQ: My vet has given my dogs a shot for heart worms that lasts 6 months. do i need to give them a wormer for other worms as well? if so, what? A: The 6 month shot for heartworm will also protect dogs against hookworm.
