All but 1 in 1
Q: I am aware what revolution does.. i am currently giving to my cat.. like i said.. it gave her a a tiny bald spot on her neck.. is it still safe to use on her? if not what combination of topicals can i give her that will cover all the revolution does if it's no longer safe to give her the revolution... please take the time to understand my question in its entirety and help slove my problem.
A: There are no products that do "all that revolution does" and again i am not a big fan of fact that it does not do it all as i have heard some dogs for example get heartworms while on monthly revolution. closest products for your cat would be frontline plus, which does not do anything for mosquitoes but i am frankly not worried about heartworm disease in cats in most areas of country. i just would not apply a product which causes the reaction you describe as i would be worried about long term effects on body
Shop for: revolution, frontline plus, frontline

Cockerspainiel with skin problems
Q: I have a 17 year old cocker. he is deaf, and recently started loosing patches of his hair. i bath him weekly in medicated shampoo from my vet. he has a few sores from chewing and is on antibotics. i just wanted to know if this could be brought on by age. or if there is anything i can do to make him better?
A: Sounds like he is in good shape given his breed and how long he has lived. likely some weakness of his immune system at his age. i like to put such dogs on extra fatty acids like flax seed oil at 1 tea per 20 pounds of body weight daily as well as digestive enzymes such as prozyme and antioxidants like st jon antioxidants from 1800petmeds
Shop for: prozyme, 1800petmeds

Rabies vaccines
Q: Are we still allowed to administer our rabies vaccines to our dogs, ourselves, and still be legal?
A: No, rabies vaccinations need to be given by a licensed accredited veterinarian.

Worm meds
Q: My vet has given my dogs a shot for heart worms that lasts 6 months. do i need to give them a wormer for other worms as well? if so, what?
A: The 6 month shot for heartworm will also protect dogs against hookworm.
